A global in-person event for WooCommerce builders is coming. It’s still early days, but the waitlist is live — and 28 people have already signed up.
The announcement of Checkout Summit marks the beginning of something long overdue: a real-life conference dedicated to WooCommerce Makers.
No design frills yet, no date or location confirmed (except that it will take place in Sicily, Italy in 2026) — but the vision is clear. A 2-day event, focused, with speakers and attendees who build for WooCommerce day in, day out.
The goal? One room, 2 days, one topic: WooCommerce. No distractions. No fluff. Just builders helping builders get better at what they do.
Why now?
Because WooCommerce deserves a dedicated in-person event. Not a broad ecommerce track, not a dev corner — a full conference where store builders, plugin developers, agency owners, and product managers can meet and focus on the one thing that keeps conversions alive.
There’s no CFP yet, and the venue/date are still in progress — but interest is already picking up. The landing page is up, the waitlist is running, and things are moving:

What’s the plan?
We will launch the first edition in 2026. That may seem far away, but pulling off an international conference needs a long runway.
Think venue negotiations, sponsorships, speakers, and logistics — all without losing the essence: a useful, no-fluff, focused gathering.
The first edition will be invite-only, single track, and open to all WooCommerce builders globally. Limited seats, a not-too-intense schedule, and an emphasis on quality over quantity.

Want to be part of it? Head to CheckoutSummit.com, read the (minimalist) info, and drop your email. You’ll be the first to know once the venue and date are confirmed, and when early tickets become available.
It’s early — but it’s happening. Stay tuned.
