Settings Overview

MARK LESSON AS COMPLETE

Don’t underestimate the WooCommerce plugin Settings – sometimes you go looking for plugins or snippets when you have everything already there out of the box. For example, you can hide a My Account tab. You can even import/export products. You can do basic email template customization. And so on.

  1. ConfigureWoo.com is not working?

    1. Not yet Andrew, I’m still working on the video lessons. Thanks for your patience 🙂

  2. Hi, I was wondering if it is wise to not select a shop page? Our shop has no one shoppage. We have women, men and children clothes. So not one shop page.

And also I would like the product permalink not to include the word product example domainname.com/product/url-stucture/urlproduct/ I just want it to show my url and productname. Is this possible?

    Cheers

    Marco

    1. Hi Marco, thanks for your questions!

      1) When someone empties the Cart, there is a “Return to Shop” button. Also, when someone adds an item to cart, there is a “Continue Shopping” button. They both need a shop page. So, unless you want a redirect to the homepage or remove those buttons, the shop page is important

      2) It’s not ideal. See https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/removing-product-product-category-or-shop-from-the-urls/
